On February 1 and 2, 2023, the Strategic Growth Council of California and the Milken Institute partnered to hold the SGC Catalyst event to look at how best to leverage new federal and state funding sources to drive climate equity projects in clean energy, transit, affordable housing, good-paying jobs, and the reduction of legacy pollution in underserved communities. Member of the event steering committee included10,000 Communities Initiative partners Dream.org, and Elemental Excelerator.
